Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1972, 1973, and 1987.
Our first selection is from the first night of a two night run at Waterbury, CT, on 9/23/72, featuring It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue; Cryptical Envelopment> Drums> The Other One > Wharf Rat ; Beat It On Down The Line; Ramble On Rose.
Next is the bulk of the second set from a year later, on 9/24/73, at Pittsburgh Civic Arena, where we have China Doll; Truckin' > Nobody's Fault But Mine > Eyes Of The World > Weather Report Suite ; Sugar Magnolia.
Lastly this week is the start of the first set from 9/19/87 at Madison Square Garden, the fourth show of a five night run in New York, where we have Misssissippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo ; It's All Over Now; High Time; Mexicali Blues> Big River; When Push Comes To Shove.
