Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1969, 1981, and 1986.
Our first selection is from the Dead’s 7/7/69 performance in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park, where we have this classic Summer 1969 sequence of Morning Dew; Mama Tried > High Time > Casey Jones; Dark Star.
Next is music from the Summer of 1981, on 7/5/81 at the OK City Zoo, where we have the start of the show featuring Shakedown Street; The Promised Land; Candyman; Cassidy; Brown Eyed Women.
Next up is the start of the second set from 7/6/86 at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC, where we have Saint Of Circumstance; Iko Iko>Looks Like Rain>He's Gone.
