    4-10-83 Morgantown, WV

So with this week's (last week's was tricky to find thanks for the tip) we get the middle third of the show. A Deadhead I know was surely at this show as he is from Morgantown and this was his era. Huh, his last name is Morgan and his Dad was a successful type. Founders? Anyway, he could play his custom Alembic in tones and styles better than any amateur Jerry stylist I ever heard. No Steve Kimock but damn he's good. Had a Dead cover band that actually played the Matrix. Gotta look for that tape now. Dan if you're out there PM me! LOL, he's more likely jamming than reading.
    Cheers

Week of December 27, 2021-January 2, 2022

And onward to 2022! Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1982, 1983, and 1985.

Our first selection this week is the start of the second set from 4/6/82 in Philadelphia, where we have Shakedown Street>Lost Sailor>Saint Of Circumstance>Terrapin Station. This show was released in its entirety as part of the Road Trips series a few years back.

Next is another start of a a second set, this from a year later in Morgantown, WV, on 4/10/83, where we have Touch Of Grey; Man Smart (Woman Smarter) ; Uncle John's Band > Playing In The Band> Drums.

Lastly this week is the end of the first set from 4/4/85 in Providence, where we have this great batch of Dead: My Brother Esau ; Friend Of The Devil ; Lost Sailor > Saint Of Circumstance > Deal.

Be sure to stop by next week for more music from the vault, and have a great start to 2022!
