Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, as we roll past the midway point of July with Grateful Dead music from 1972, 1973, and 1980.
Our first selection this week is from 11/22/72 Austin, where we have a classic 1972 jam sequence of He's Gone> Truckin' > Drums > The Other One > Stella Blue.
Next is the start of the first set from 11/21/73 in Denver the first night of a two night run at the Denver Coliseum, featuring Me And My Uncle ; Sugaree ; Jack Straw ; Dire Wolf ; Black Throated Wind ; Big Railroad Blues ; Mexican Hat Dance Tuning ; Mexicali Blues ; They Love Each Other ; Looks Like Rain; Here Comes Sunshine.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 11/26/80 in Pembroke Pines, FL, the first two set show after the Warfield-Radio City runs of three sets through late September and October 1980, featuring Cold Rain And Snow ; Samson And Delilah ; China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider > Estimated Prophet.
