Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we’ll roll into summer with Grateful Dead music from Eugene in 1983 and 1988, and Ohio in 1990.
Our first stop this week is the end of the show from the third night of a three night run at the Silva Hall at the Hult Center in Eugene, OR, on 8/31/83, where we have Space > Truckin' > Stella Blue > Around And Around > Good Lovin', US Blues, Satisfaction.
From five years later in Eugene, on 8/28/88, but at the much bigger Autzen Stadium, we have the entire first set, featuring Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodleloo ; Little Red Rooster ; Friend Of The Devil ; Stuck Inside of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again ; Foolish Heart ; Victim Or The Crime ; Don't Ease Me In.
Lastly this week is the end of the show from 9/8/90 in Richfield, OH, Vince Welnick’s second show as a member of the Grateful Dead, where we have All Along The Watchtower> SteIla Blue> Throwing Stones > Not Fade Away, One More Saturday Night.
