Week of March 28-April 3, 2022

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have a trio of Brent-era performances, from 1984, 1988, and 1990.

Our first stop this week is the start of the show on 6/23/84 in Harrisburg, PA, where we have Alabama Getaway> Promised Land ; Peggy-O ; Little Red Rooster ; Brown Eyed Women ; My Brother Esau.

Next up is the start of the second set from the second night of a four night at Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI, on 6/20/88, where we have Victim Or The Crime> Cumberland Blues; Blow Away> Ship of Fools ; Truckin' > Terrapin Station, including the first-ever Blow Away, and the second Victim Or The Crime.

Lastly this week is the first set from 6/24/90 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, OR, featuring this excellent batch of Grateful Dead music from a month before Brent passed away: Help On The Way > Slipknot! > Franklin's Tower ; When I Paint My Masterpiece ; Loose Lucy ; Just A Little Light ; Picasso Moon ; Candyman ; Let It Grow.

Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.
