Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1973, 1979, and 1981, three very fine eras in the band’s history.
Our first selection is the big jam from 12/8/73 at Duke University, where we have He's Gone > Truckin' > Nobody's Fault But Mine > The Other One > Wharf Rat > Stella Blue.
Next is the start of the second set from the 12/7/79 show in Indianapolis on the second leg of the Fall Tour of 1979, where we have China Cat Sunflower> I Know You Rider; Eyes Of The World > Lost Sailor> Saint Of Circumstance.
Lastly this week is the end of the first set from 12/6/81 in Rosemont, IL, where we have Tennessee Jed > Looks Like Rain ; Jack-A-Roe > Beat It On Down The Line ; China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider.
