Similar to the Road Trips, any chance Dave's Picks show up on ITunes? I'm late to the party. Hope to start with 24 and the subscription for 2018. Would love a chance to grab some of the previous releases. Same question regarding the 30 trips box. Would be great to have access to them as well. Thanks.

Archived Tapers Section access

I paged back within the Tapers Section this morning, looking for a features from October 2009: the chronological order goes wacky before 2011. Suggestion for where to post

Hi there- New to Dead.net, got an idea how to navigate, but could use some assistance finding the best place to post a request for assistance on a project. I am producing a photo book on the closing of Winterland. I am seeking fellow Deadheads who were at the show to share their stories for inclusion in my book. Where might be the best place to get a request like that seen? I have an email account where people can reach me for more details and to communicate about the project. Thanks for your assistance. When you click on a user (by the way, clicking on user not functional from every thread as it had been on prior site), the track function is no longer available. Any thoughts about bringing this function back so we can track a user's posting activity history?

November 30 Days of Dead Free Downloads

Hi - Looking for a bit of help. Downloaded the free set in 2017 but a couple of the tracks are corrupted, also thought I had a similar download set from 2016 but cannot find it. Anyone have these that they could share? Thanks.

Hi,

I am a software engineer experimenting with some data visualization technics. I would love to get a copy of the show database to experiment with. This is not for any commercial purpose and I'm happy to open source any resulting visualizations.

Does anyone know where I might get a copy of the show DB?

GD Covers Contest or Exposition

Hi Mary, I recently read about a contest or exposition of Grateful Dead covers by other bands. I couldn't find any detail anywhere. Nor can I find the original source. Have you heard anything? Was I just hallucinating?

1. I've Seen Them All is in between I'm A Man and Jam - Dick's Picks #30

2. Following the Lovelight was a Casey Jones which ended the show - I was there. They launched into Casey Jones just as the final notes of Lovelight faded.

yes and no

There is no user search function. However, if you start a message and type in a likely name it will present you with a lot of options. This only helps if you sorta know the name they're going by. The flip side of this is getting friend requests on FB from people you have no idea who they are and they're all "Hey, it's me, HippyDude!"

Licensing images for use

Hi - Long time fan, first time caller. I am looking for direction. Specifically, I am building a boat, and I am planning on sailing it around the world. I'd like to use modified versions of GD iconography/images. I want to do it on the up & up- and would like to acquire rights to do so. Initially, I do not view this as a commercial endeavor, but eventually there may be some commercialization.

Does anyone have contact info for the licensing people that I would need to contact?

Trade Tickets

Does anyone know where would be the best forum to trade tickets? I have 4 great tickets to California shows but Chicago is way closer to me. Any suggestions appreciated.

The GD concerts coming up in Summer

If in fact these will be the last shows of the GD I appeal to any Deadhead with influence... 1) There should be a fine & powerful & lengthy version of Terrapin Station backed up by genuine black gospel choir. That would be absolutely ethereal. 2) There should a good long version of Dark Star where there ought be several lead guitarists. I suggest inviting a whole host of musicians such as Steve Hillage, Al DiMeola, Santana,etc. There are are so many folks who have loved the GD that some talented folks will show up & do a monumental job.

Post on GDTS TOO

Says they are trying hard to notify winners by email within next two days. My question is, is it just me or did all the other ticket travel VIP packages disappear except for the most expensive. I swear two days ago they were up and I was making huge rationalizations about how to afford the Workingman's Dead that included 3 res. and 3 nights stay for 2 for $1550. Oh well, couldn't afford it anyway with money in MOs floating around but I am I hallucinating?

Checking Your USPS Money Order

US postal money order status can be checked by calling 866-459-7822. The automated system will ask you for your postal serial #, dollar amount and post office number – all located on the money order receipt. The system will then say if the money is “does match” or “does not match” their system. “Does NOT match” means that the money order has been cashed! Hopefully I will get tickets and all the bitter & negative people on the chat boards out there stay home.
