    1982-04-10 Jerry solo acoustic

    Hi Everyone-
    Its been a while since I started a vine so I thought I'd get this one going.
    I forget all the particulars of this Jerry show but off the top of my head, here's a brief summary. Jerry and John Kahn were doing a brief tour together (just the two of them) and Kahn fell ill. Hence, Jerry acoustic solo for one night only! Included here are the early show and the two sets of the late show that Jerry played. This night was a real treat for anyone who attended.
    The quality of these audio recordings is good, not great like the recent sbds we've been vining. And also, more troubling is the Rueben and Cherise encore of the second show that fades out. Every time I listen to it, I get annoyed about it, but being a completist, or in this case, partial completist, I'm going to include it here. Despite those facts, I consider this show to be a must have.

    Ok, I researched this back to sakparadise
    who reported that he did get this vine. Around that time, iknowyourider took herself out of the vining til later, so it appears to me that reedchris is the next recipient of this SoloGarciaacoustic 2 disc set. This isn't a complex vine, folks, 2 CDs and the acousitc ones really copy quickly, so lets keep it moving. A couple days each and lets get it to the next anxious folks while we all still have the intensity of the this last week of days of Jerry 'significance' radiating around us. Reedchris, will you send me your info? Thanks. And I am not preaching, I am as bad as anyone getting going on the vines (shit, I have to get working with that Pink Floyd vine that was here when I got back from vacation!) See we all do it, but lets make this better, by being better at turning these vines around (the longer they sit, the more I/we forget! Esp. it we have a bunch in at one time.) And pm me Reedchris, I will burn the reseed right now. Vine on.

    By attempting to start a new list
    you are wiping 8 or more people off the list (including me) who have been waiting a long time for this. You should add your names to the bottom of the existing list, and not try an end run to jump to the front. Very unfair.-Tommo

    That's not how it works...
    We shouldn't just dump the list and start over- it looks like the next person on the list is reedchris. iknowurider was the last person to post that they got it. Chinacat is long gone, and should be skipped. I'm sending a PM to reedchris to see if they ever got it...-Tommo
