After checking the vineyard/vindex, I did not see any 94’ shows offered, so here you go. In my opinion, Jerry’s voice sounded better between 93’ and 95’. After 92’ he made some health improvements (lost some weight and cut back on smoking), and his voice had better clarity and range in hitting the high notes. I can tell a big difference in his vocals between the summer of 1990 and these shows from 1994. He just sounds better vocally. A lot of heads have disagreed but I found one that did agree with this observation. I am not a big fan of the 94’ to 95’ Second Set set-lists. But these set-lists are great and classic. I absolutely love the "Here Comes Sunshine" version here from Atlanta. It's better than versions I have heard from 93'. Notes: 1) DSB Source 2) Seamless tracks (no gaps) 3) The 3/30/94 show has some minor static in a few places w

Thanks. Jerry's voice is less raspy I think. On the down side, his poor memory got worse, and there were a lot of flubbed lyrics in '94 and more in '95. "I do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do"--Lion Wizard of Oz

    ok your totally right
I could tell how much better his voice was as soon as I heard the first part of the first verse of baby blue from 10-13-94 right after I listened to the version from 9-10-91. It sounds like he has more range and sounds alot less like he has something stuck in his throat. It isnt as noticable with the version of touch of grey from 10-13-94 compared to the one from 9-8-91 but you can still hear the difference in his voice. Pretty cool EDA, I hadent ever noticed that before. Thanks again for the vine by the way. Peace, Trevor "You know the one thing we need is a left handed monkey wrench....."

I'll listen to a couple songs from these shows and then listen to versions of the same songs from 1990 and get back to you. "You know the one thing we need is a left handed monkey wrench....."

...tomorrow to PonchoBill. To save all the flac-ers some time I ripped the disks to flac using dBpoweramp, created song title tags, and created checksums with Taper's Little Helper. The vine is now 9 CD-Rs and 1 DVD. "Believe it if you need it or leave it if you dare." Thanks!

Maustin posted that he is having issues in the new vines topic. Please read posts before posting. Sometimes life gets in the way with the vineyard. A lot of us here have learned that communication is a must to keep the music moving.
