Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1973, 1979, and 1989.
Our first selection is from 12/8/73 at Duke University in Durham, NC, where we have the big second set jam of He's Gone > Truckin' > Nobody's Fault But Mine > The Other One > Wharf Rat > Stella Blue. Donna Jean was absent from this tour, as she was pregnant with Zion.
Next is the opening of the second set from the final night of a three night run at the Uptown in Chicago on 12/5/79, where we have Shakedown Street; Samson And Delilah ; Ship Of Fools ; He's Gone > The Other One.
Lastly this week is the end of the show from 12/9/89 at the Forum in LA, where they played this sequence of Dear Mr. Fantasy>Hey Jude>Turn On Your Lovelight, Knockin' On Heaven’s Door.
