No, Bob I'm just kiddin' about that. But a couple months ago MOTB wizards started working on my tapes of 4 shows from 'from back in the day', including that 7-8-78 show. I was road-tripping and hauling around my Nak 550 into shows and I was lucky enough to tape 2-3-78, 7-5-78 and 7-7/8-78. And soon MOTB will seed all 4 on etree. So, to go along with the Dead's maiden Red Rocks voyage (enhanced by the sonic sorcerers at MOTB) as well as the Omaha '78 show (and there is NO soundboard in the vault on this one) along that Madison '78 show (that one is a DP, but this is that entire show). So anyway, you old tapers out there, look through your old master cassettes, you might find a treasure there and then get in touch with wwwmotb.org. who caon bring it back to life, so we can pass it along! Take care, Tim

Although this was the 2nd GD concert I ever attended (6/22/1969 being the 1st), I consider this 9/8/1973 the "1st" mainly because I don't remember much about 6/22/1969 & I was taken to Central Park. 9/8/1973 on the other hand, I planned for months and months!!! I feel honored to reseed my "Hush DAT Tape" again, this concert is very special to me!!! thanks Ltapilot for the most kind offer. In fact Deadicated has picked up on the Felt Forum vine already so that is taking care of. The other one I was chasing was not the 4 Europe Shows Vine, but the 71 Tour Vine (4/29, 10/21, 10/30).

Hi - Not sure how to do this, or if this is the right place, BUT, I am looking for audio of JGB and Bob Weir Band from Cheney WA, 10/27/78. Anyone have it and care to send it to me? I'll happily burn and share, if the vine concept is carefully explained to me... Thanks everyone for directing me to The Vineyard... Larry

Let it be late '71!!! From 10/19 to 12/31 I am extremely thin. There are, of course, favorites that I would like that I've had in part on tape for many, many years, but to have the whole would be the sweetest. Deadicated "Where does the time go?"

I had a Betty Board(I think) of a show from Ann Arbor where they played this and on the whole tape Keith was mixed heavy and just kicked! Looking forward to this. If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. William Blake

I would delete a few shows from the vine, the Felt Forum run as that has been vined by Yamadog, perhaps another show or two from other vines, the Dick's Picks portion of 10/31.

Love 71/72/77/78, but I've always been a fan of the post-hiatus 76 shows as well. Especially the second half of the year, after they had really got back into full stride. Some of the meandering 2nd sets were never duplicated IMO. Personal fav is 10-9-76, which ended up as a DP, but I know there were some other great shows (especially Sept-Oct 76). If you've got any and care to vine 'em, I'd be estatic. Peace
