    Howdy!!
    Just an idea to make navigating the forum part of the website easier and faster. On the right side there is the number indicating how many posts there are for the topic and under that number there is the number of new posts since the last time the viewer looked at that topic. Would it be possible to make it that when someone clicks on the new post number that it takes the viewer to the oldest of the new posts instead of the first page of posts? This would make a big difference in time saving! Thanks so much for all the great work so far to u and the others who have made such a lovely site! Cheers, Jody Are you kind?

    as I understand it...
    The Rhino folks are aware of this issue and working on it. Which is not as good as having it all fixed right now, but is reason for hope at least.

    cover art for dicks picks series...
    I am rather amazed at the incomplete "cover art" supporting dicks picks if downloaded.please get this right! we are paying customers when we download and the notes and covers should be considered part of the package. do you guys give a rip? i'm looking for the "later ones" including 35, 32, 36 etc. where are they??? -Gary Desilet

    I was trying to post this in the positive vibes area a few times, it kept giving me a message about the proxyserver... something or other. if it makes it here--first time I ever saw that message; please move it. thankx and peace. more positive vibes on the way, dude. if you feel like getting into more specifics, please don't feel we will read it as whining or complaining. all of us have had troubles in life, and that is what the 'loveful' community here is all about. cosmicbadger said it better, we are hear to listen and help with vibes and if you want to tell us more, we'll listen sympathetically. reach out more, if you think it will help. love and peace.

    as I understand it...
    it wasn't just this site, it was a server meltdown further up the corporate food chain. And yeah, down. For extended periods. I haven't heard any reports since it was up. Whether heavy traffic was a contributing factor, I can't say; there certainly WAS heavier traffic the last few days since the Road Trip announcements, but what else was going on I dunno. Anyway, fingers crossed for a bit more stability.

    was it offline?
    was the whole site actually offline/down earlier (about 24 hours ago) or was I unable to see everything because of 'heavy traffic' like the apology page said?

I get a dead link when I follow the full show downloads link for the 11/79 Spectrum shows - are these still available? The page I'm accessing is via Features -> New Full Show Downloads (near bottom of page) -> MORE DOWNLOAD INFO (right sidebar). I really hope these haven't gone the way of the rest of the download series (which I'm still trying to find a way to purchase in FLAC or ALAC format. Thanks, D

i have gotten about 20 messages in the last two days about a request to reset my password. Someone is obviously trying to steal my user name by getting the password reset. How can i make sure it doesn't get changed? I set up this ID early on day one of the new website launch as you can imagine my User name is a desirable one.

Jack Straw that is clearly someone trying to change it...be careful man, and make sure your password is both capitals, lower case, and a few numbers and has nothing to do with your home/house birthday etc. That sucks man...hopefull the techies can ping back the responses and get the IP addy the guy is using. yes, it does seem to be dysfunctional. I'll report it. However, from what I can tell, the problem is not on our site but the chat hosting site, and seeing as it's Labor Day Weekend things might stay this way till folks get back to work on Tuesday. Thanks.

We're now at day 5 since a new Jam Of The Week ought to have been posted. Still rocking the 2-4-2/10 Jam, now on 2/15. While I'm at it, the on Features page the main link, top and center of the page, points to a stale Taper's Section? It's pointing to 2/7-2/13, last week's selections. The new one has now been available for two days. Is anyone actually devoted to maintaining this site, as their primary responsibility? Or does someone just patch things up when marye brings them to their attention? I mean seriously. We have to *tell* you that your site is stale? We have to *tell* you that you haven't got Jam Of The Week up? Does nobody there actually browse the site??? Sorry to be so harsh, but I am actually curious what resources are devoted to site maintenance here. There's definitely an issue with staff levels or competencies. And whoever's in charge ought to have been shown the door ages ago. [mandatory_pander] But, of course, all the gracious goodies are appreciated, yadda, yadda... [/mandatory_pander]
