The interplay play between Brent and Jerry is palpable here, what a selection to end another wonderful ride. Thanks to Dave and crew for putting on a great party, and a party is only great if the freaks that attend are cool AF. Aside from a handful of co-writer credits on early jam creations like Alligator, Caution, That's It For the Other One, and Dark Star, really there are just two Pigpenned songs that may have unreleased versions: Easy Wind and Operator. All Europe '72 tunes written by McKernan (Mr. Charlie, The Stranger (Two Souls in Communion), Chinatown Shuffle) have had all recorded versions already released. Other 'Pigpen songs' like Smokestack Lightning and Turn on Your Lovelight are covers with copyright implications.

Another great 30 days come and gone, my oh my. See you cats and mamas again next year. Be well all! Let's count our blessings. And hear, hear Ever Grateful regarding making a donation to Internet Archive. I for one will do so, as I'd like to see that platform continue, and they need our donations for that. Nearly nine hours of music again this year. Ran out of time to guess yesterday (but the 7/16/72 show was the next one I was going to listen to, dang it). No time Turkey Day either. I'm 21/30 this year, off from last year's 22 and 2023's high water mark of 27. There's always next year (let us hope).

I sure do enjoy The 30 Days. This might have been the first year I guessed all 30 dates correct.
