Imagine if this was possible when we were kids/younger.
Back in my younger days, you'd borrow albums from people so you could copy to tape.
You can't buy everything. A lot of things I download I may not get around to REALLY listening to it, but I have it. Sometimes down the road, I rediscover these things and get into them. Other times people I know like and want a copy.
My one buddy used to sit up at night listening to the radio and hitting record on the deck to copy songs he heard. Still have copies of those tapes.
Grab and share,,,, it's a way of life.

Joined:re: PortlandEnjoy Portland, it's a cool place. There is a awesome music venue right on the water that I've visited several times (I've seen Goose there a handful of times over the past few years). Lots of great food and suds too if that's your thing. I bought a sweet 180g disc from Mexicali Blues with the GD inspired logo, love that thang.

The waterfront here in Portland is awesome; dozens of bars, restaurants, and shops. One of the shops is called Mexicali Blues. Will have to check that out. Taking a lighthouse and harbor cruise later today. - Colin Gould

On a bit of a jazz binge at the moment.
With the 100th anniversary of Miles birth coming up (26th May) I thought I’d work my way through what I have, that should take a while.
The Jeff Parker was recorded last August at the Lodge Room, Highland Park, Los Angeles. Sounds like a great concert. - Dennis
Joined:Jelly Roll MortonMy copy of Jelly Roll Morton - 1926-30 5 cd set on JSP label came in last night. Other than having to type all 100 titles in (since Gracenote died). All in and the remastering is VERY nice. NO, not stereo but clear as a bell, minor static in some. I kind of like a little static, reminds me of my youth listening to 78 RPM.
Thanks, folks, for the heads up on this box.
