VGuy - from memory, the cd of Imaginos, included in the Columbia Albums Collection, sounds better than the original record. I agree that it's a great record but that original album did sound a bit dense.

....would be neat if it got remastered and re-released. It does sound a little muddy.

Martin Popoff has two good books on the Imaginos mythos that spawned the first three BOC albums. It can get a little confusing but they are quite interesting. Also,Albert Bouchard (original BOC drummer) has put out four solo,albums that are closer to the original soft history of the Imaginos story and are as close as we will ever get to the tale. Al’s vocals are a little weak but they are good albums.

Just checking the albums and it's stun guitar on the first 3 plus On Your Feet...All 4 of those albums are amazing. The last time I saw them they played all the Agents Of Fortune album in sequence. Which was alright, but after that they tore the roof off with tracks off the first 3 and newer stuff.
I have never heard of the Stoned Age film I must admit.

Oro - Layla is an easy album to forget about. I was going to play it too after it was mentioned on here last week. But forgot again. It's too late now, I'm off to bed in a minute

Daverock, I believe Mr. Bloom is credited with stun guitar on the first album, And the last days of may is alchemical in every way
