Joined:OroborousSorry to be confusing... Yeah, I retired from teaching January 1. By "Back at the rec full time, without restrictions." I meant that I could work out without doctor-ordered limits. Had a procedure recently.
School asked if I wanted to come back and do some subbing, what with student skills competitions starting, so I said I'd help. I told them I'd do 1-2 days a week, until I get called back to my summer job.
Summer job is mowing grass at a golf course.

Not recently, but (2/4/69) the jam from Steve’s to the 11 is FIERCE!!
Av/Ark are certainly good, but perhaps like others more. (Overrated tapers hype?)

Ron, thought you retired?
-OBEAH. Thank you for your service. I’m sure it’s a emotional/not easy gig?
Hang it up and see what tomorrow brings. Sleep is da bomb for what ails you…
Then, take two shows and call me in the morning ; ) - Obeah

I was just listening to some Floyd last night in the early hours after work. Ibiza Bar, Careful with that Axe, Astronomy.

My own work has me on the forward side of death - I do what I can to prevent it over the phone but when we see 1055 on the call, we know they didn't make it. I always laud those callers who keep time with me on CPR and try their level best to save a life while they must almost literally stare death in the face. It's hard, physical work, and the chance of survival is small: but as it's not nil the effort is always worth the giving. "If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well it were done quickly." Not perhaps the actual meaning of the quote, but I'ev had a mere 4 hours' sleep.
.
At least I have today off. I'm downloading 2/4/69 now. Never heard it but I have played 2/11 extensively, and the Avalon run from a week or so earlier never disappoints. I place my trust in Doc. - Forensicdoceleven

Morning, rockers!!! Breathe, breathe in the air!!!!
Today's commute: Omaha Nebraska February 4 1969...........
Let's be honest, who's listened to this recently? Check it out, you might be pleasantly surprised. OK yes the Fillmore West is the caviar, the filet mignon, but this ain't exactly chopped liver. So many of those February 1969 shows are worth a listen...............so what are you waiting for????
I heard that this year's box will be "The A Box". Avalon and Ark. So start saving already.........
Paperwork day. While working on autopsy reports (so much death, so little time) I have the Floyd's October 1974 Wembley playing in the background..............
And through the window in the wall.....
Come streaming in on sunlight wings.....
A million bright ambassadors of morning.....The past is the beginning of the beginning and all that is and has been is but the twilight of the dawn......
Rock on, my friends!!!!
