Listening to 6/11/69. This show has been listed in every DeadBase since Volume I yet no tapes exist.

I have found that a gentle cleaning with a microfiber cloth often fixes the issue. I had it with the recent bonus disc. I have never had this issue with any other source of cds-ever. I have cds from the very beginning and issues only with GD. I will now go and check that box as it is one of my favorites of all time. I mean the Tuscaloosa show............ IMHO as good as the 5/8/77 box.

I'm not sure which one it was, but one of the discs in my May 77 box wouldn't play when I tried it last year. And again, it was okay when I bought it. I can't remember which one it was but the second disc of 5/17 is playing okay now.

A short while back, I came upon a similar issue with disc 2 of Tuscaloosa 5.17 ... It now stutters and has a static-y sound at a rhythmic rate on each of my devices >> It's a big bummer, as it has ruined the excellent "Quacking Duck" Scarlet > Fire, etc. within one of my very favorite shows.

Like yours, DMCTV, my disc has no signs of having being scratched up or of disc rot - It and all discs in the box originally played perfectly several/many times.

So far as I know, it is just this one disc.
But now I am also hoping that it is not occurring on any of the other discs as well ...
