Continuing from The Other One box.

Stalk-Forrest - no I've never heard of that Collectors Choice live release. Unfortunately, it isn'r easily available now - the only one I could find was very expensive. The only other live Johnny Winter I have from this era is from the Albert Hall 4/17/70 which was included as a second disc with the Legacy Edition of "Second Winter". Also also hot as a jalopena pepper ! Edgar takes over for the last 3 tracks which changes things a bit.

Talking of Chuck Berry, I saw him in 1999 ( I think). He was on a triple bill with Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis. It looked fantastic, approaching Wembley Stadium ( maybe Arena), and seeing those three names lit up in neon outside the venue. For one night only ! James Burton played with Jerry Lee.
Another unexpected presence was George Harrison - who was sitting in the next aisle to us.

I wasn't sure where to put this, but this looks OK. Happened to be reading a list of the top 100 greatest songs for the, what I believe, are only from selections studio albums (except for a few,i.e. Drums/Space) for the GOGD in Rolling Stone. Seemed recent and done by their writers. And #1 waaaassssss......SCARLET BEGONIAS............I was really hoping for Pride of Cucamonga or What's Become of the Baby. Since another of my choices was only on an outake of Aoxomoxoa, Barbed Wire Whipping Party did not make the cut. Everyone enjoy their day, and now my smoking lamp is lit here in Indy.

opened for the GOGD at Portland Meadows in '95. Hadn't given it much thought but sort of a R & R mind bender. IWT.
