10/19/73, thank youuuuuu, Oro! My research grind just got a blast of sunshine!

Desk work on a cloudy Saturday as Hurricane Rachel offers San Diego a tropical storm warning--finally, a break from the heat that's been roasting us for weeks and weeks. Listening to the appropriately sparkling, brooding, gloaming "Ghosts VI: Locusts" from NIN. This, along with "Ghosts V: Together" was a free download a few years ago. Reznor cites Bowie as a mentor, and Locusts reminds me a lot of "Low." Thank the Muses for free downloads. The musical community shows wonderful generosity. Grateful.

Majestic!

Don’t forget perhaps the best of the three
9/27/76! Doc knows!

....that's how I spell it on my tapes! Love a prankster. Current listening Phish Jacksonville last night.
I know it's broken record stuff, but they are peaking. Again.

After the recent talk of 9/28/76 I decided to spin the 9/25 show, which makes up the first half of DP#20. This show features an excellent setlist/palying with a great Scarlet and an epic Lazy Lightning>Supplication!
So much great music has been released

Rock on, gang

I was very happy to see someone, somewhere had type all the info in for the box! :-)

Got the newest Paul Simon playing.

About half-way through. Good stuff so far. Whoever populated the Gracenote database decided Drumz should be spelled with a Z. Always a prankster out there.
The Don Was show last night was really good. A little less than two hours, so on the short side. Really good musicians. As Was said, Detroit musical royalty. The lead singer, Steffanie Christi'an, really has a set of pipes. They played BFA straignt through, and tossed in a Shakedown at the end.
I went with one of the other retired guys from work, and we ran into another co-worker on the way out. Small world! We were at the Kent Stage, and he mentioned he was on-campus when the shootings happened. Will have to get more details from him on that.

46 years ago I was up in S.F. at the tiny Warfield Theatre for a killer show with the Good old Grateful Dead. Any show that has a High Time and a Casey Jones is alright by me. Of course the acoustic sets of the 9th & 10th were both officially released a few years ago. What a blast!

If any GD68 is still in the vault
