Joined:1000ish MilesMade it from the CLE to Bar Harbor. Side trip yesterday to Cooperstown, which was really cool. Did some random picks from PlayDead for the road. They added two more shows from the Sept. '88 run at MSG yesterday, so those are in the queue.
Listened to the 2026 bonus disc earlier, then started Dave's 58. The sound there is superb!
Ouroboros, when I mentioned Jerry sounding rough, I meant that it had that raspiness that has character. The Black Peter from that show really hits home.
Now, time to go get a lobster dinner.
Edit: Walked into the beer and wine shop and Truckin’ came on. Then Houses of the Holy and California Sober. Good omen!
Edit 2: 1/2 dozen Bar Harbor blonde oysters, lobster roll and dirty rice for dinner. Two pints of MBC Lunch to wash it all down. Perfect. - Oroborous
Joined:PhewBeen binging out on so much new musically recently my head looks like South Parks depiction of Britney! 58, Bonus!, 22, JGB 91, Wings, Brahms, my goodness!
Especially 58. Bonus three times and 58 probably four, maybe five times?
But currently 4/1/86 cause Ron called it out ; ) I dunno know bro, sounds pretty sweet to moi? What few vocal anomalies there may be are more than compensated for with such good ensemble playing etc. But I tend to overlook the vocal thing so don’t listen to me ; )

Might next try to start my back homework on the 73 Nassau noise? Been busy and this will T require proper time/space…
Digging free range freaking freely, but need to get back on down to the Cumberland mine and continue my quest..soon, but not just yet! Some 92 when we continue, to be followed by a deep dive into summer 76! Speaking of, where ole SeventySixtus be at?

Thanks Danehead for the Jelly Roll recommendation. We actually already have the JSP five disc Annotated Discography, (which might be enough?) but have heard that’s a great set!
Just saw a great doc on PBS about Scott Joplin. Didn’t realize he was kinda the original?
Very informative!

PF???, wait, what? let Beavis get this straight, you were hand flapping while climaxing in the car on the way to work?…bet that’s was a sight to see ; )

2026 box? No clue, I’d like/say February 73, but prolly too soon on the heals of HCS?
Ditto 78? Probably too soon for 85, or 91.(though why not?), though 91 might be the dark hourse, maybe late summer and/or fall 89, but think they saturated that slightly for now?…maybe fall 72, oh, I’d say better bet April 71, docs beloved Acid Month!
Onward!
But 59 is 9/26/81 cause Wissonoming said so, and great minds think alike!

Box set? Dave needs to announce pretty quick before I max out my credit making summer vacay reservations. Come on, maaaaaaan. While I still have two dimes to rub together.
