The show that Ventura animal grading arena for the County Fair holds 15,000 people. I just have a hard time believing that. But with 3 straight days of psychedelics. Shrooms, Liquid, Shrooms means judgement was off.

It sure seemed like it held maybe 7,500. So I am not sure if the website that posted that meant the total capacity of the Fair Grounds. I believe that is what they mean.

We did Ventura, Greek, then after 3rd Greek show we drove about 1/2 way back to LA, say 180-200 miles. Checked in started drinking some beer and smoking much. Slept may 5 to 6 hours. Dove to LAX, turned in rental car and flew back home through Atlanta. Got home late Monday night. Tuesday and Wednesday we rested and only talked a few times on next trip logistics. Left Thursday morning and drove to 20 mile outside of Alpine Valley. Friday mid day we had a note on my car from heads from Georgia wanting a ride to Alpine Valley. They saw my dancin Skeleton bumper sticker on my car.Two brothers from Atlanta. They were great and we had a massive blast those 3 days. Mush, Liquid, Liquid. We then drove back home on Monday. My freaky friend left to get back to school.

We had met a taper in Ventura. Paul from the Pittsburgh (area). He was way more knowledgeable than I was. Learned a lot. He invited me to Pittsburgh. So I took him up on the invitation. Flew to Pittsburgh on July 5th. We went to Pittsburgh then Roanoke Va. then back to Pittsburgh. So many stories to tell about all of this.

I calculated that I had traveled 8,271 miles total flying and driving in roughly 30 days.

We flew to LA and spent 4 or 5 days there before going to Santa Barbara for the Ventura shows.

Was the best 30 days (approximately) of my life. Wish I was healthy enough to do it again. Want to post before a power drop erases everything. Might need to edit.

    Peace.

The 20 disc set is priced fine. But those downloads are outrageous in price when compared to the CD price. Thanks Dave, but give me a break.
